Via pastapadre.com:

The Bears offense is going to be horrible and consequentially, no fun to play with in this year’s Madden. But who knew Adrian Peterson (94) was such a fantastic third-down back?

The defense looks solid. Despite injury-riddled seasons, the makers of Madden still like Mike Brown and Nathan Vasher.

and consequentially, the “horrible” offense will not keep you from playing with the bears on madden. will it?
Comment by britt June 13, 2008 @ 10:16 pmlets just hope our bears prove madden wrong.
No offense is horrible on “Pro” difficulty!!
Comment by Orton's Lazy Eye June 17, 2008 @ 4:35 pmare they scared to give hillenmeyer a better LB rating cause of the other two more LBS briggs, urlacher those guys are AWESOME but hillenmeyer always makes plays and last yr his speed was pretty slow give the guy a break give him like a 84 at least more SPEED. for the most part watch some reps he runs with ppl easily.
Comment by john August 2, 2008 @ 11:47 pmNo way, the anti-bear on-his-knees-for-Brett John Madden doesnt like the Bears? Typical anti-bears national media bias
Comment by Day August 3, 2008 @ 2:15 pmFirst thing I do in franchise mode: Trade for Thomas Jones, start devin hester, and cut garret wolfe
Comment by Day August 3, 2008 @ 2:17 pmYou do know you can raise the attribute points of any player to where you believe they should be. Hell, those guys at Madden don’t get everything right or do they ?
Comment by rob August 5, 2008 @ 10:26 amMatt Forte should be at least 85
Comment by Anonymous August 11, 2008 @ 3:15 pmMatt Forte should be at least 85 why is urlacher worse this year
Comment by Anonymous August 11, 2008 @ 3:16 pmDay – I’m with you. I was, and still am, a big fan of Thomas Jones. I like Wolfe, too, though. Maybe, with the Bears passing game the way it is, keeping four running backs on the roster is a viable option!
Comment by Orton's Lazy Eye August 14, 2008 @ 2:58 amYeah, believe it or not,it’s really not a fun offense to play with. You find yourself turning into the same person you are when you are while watching the Bears games. Defense is a blast and you’re confident. On special teams, you pray that the cpu or whoever you are playing is dumb enough to kick to Hester. And then the offense, you just worry every time you step back to throw, and hope to not turn the ball over.
Comment by Matt August 14, 2008 @ 6:48 amIt’s also tough to decide which of our handful of #4 receivers to put as the #3 receiver! In all seriousness though, rating Rashied a 73(?) and Bennett a 79 already is a bit ridiculous.
I’m loving the game though.
“You find yourself turning into the same person you are when you are while watching the Bears games. ”
Comment by Matt August 14, 2008 @ 6:55 amOops, when you are watching the Bears games I meant of course.
bears suck! madden is right, get a real QB
Comment by Anonymous August 14, 2008 @ 3:52 pmThanks for the expert analysis!
Comment by Matt August 14, 2008 @ 8:02 pmYea bears passing is really no fun because Grossman turns it over. I did find that throwing to the TE’s Clark or Olsen are good weapons though. Forte is a monster as well. I just get scared he might fumble because he’s a rookie.
Comment by BEARly Legal August 15, 2008 @ 11:06 amAbsolutely agree.
